During the cusp of the Internet Revolution, a wave of forward thinking businesses hit the Internet realizing the potential of millions of people seeing ads for their products and services on a daily basis.
Unlike Spam, email campaigns (or “blasts”) are emails sent to individuals who have signed up to receive such emails either through purchases from the company or via a sign up on the company’s web site or portal. Email campaigns are proving to be highly effective marketing campaigns as you can specify who is going to get the email based on demographics or other collectible data. And you can track who is responding to which campaign through link reporting in the emails themselves or by linking the emails to specific pages on your web site. It is an innovative and highly effective way of keeping your customers informed of the products and services you offer and of events relating to your company.

More recently, the word SEO has been a hot topic on the Internet front. Standing for Search Engine Optimization this new and emerging service is the practice of tailoring your website to be read and cataloged by search engine spiders.
